After planning many, many, many weddings, we have compiled a list of unique ideas for your wedding ceremony and reception that will make your day even more memorable.

- Wedding Ceremony -
Face the guests instead of the officiant. It will be much more enjoyable for all and your guests will feel more of a part of your blessed day.
- Wedding Program - Create a written "program" for your wedding guests. You could include things like how the bride and groom met, who each of the attendants are and how they are related to the couple and any other information you would like to convey to your guests.
- Evening Wedding Candle Bouquets - Instead of the usual bouquets, the bridesmaids could carry candles in a covered candle holder to set a nice mood. The candle holders could also be decorated with flowers and greenery.
- Giving Away the Bride - If both parents raised the bride, both parents could escort her down the aisle and give her away. They both worked hard over the years and both deserve that honor!
- Special Mothers - During the wedding ceremony, take a moment and have the groom approach the bride's mother and the bride approach the groom's mother. Each should give their soon-to-be mother-in-law a long stemmed rose and say "You're not losing a son/daughter, you're gaining a daughter/son. There won't be a dry eye in the house.
